Cookie Policy
Effective October 23, 2026
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. We use a few of our own. Ad companies set some too, but only if we've switched them on and you haven't opted out.
Cookies we always use
- Sign-in cookies (names start with
sb-). They keep you signed in to your account. The site can't work without them. They last until you sign out or they expire. oa_consentremembers whether you opted out of ad tags. It lasts 180 days.oa_viewlets this browser open the guides you made or bought here (your free guide's page and your order pages), because those pages show a child's details. It holds only signed order and guide ids, no names or emails, and lasts 60 days.oa_sidis our own analytics. It's a random id so we can count visits and see which pages and buttons people use. It isn't shared with anyone and lasts 30 days.
What we keep in your browser
- Your order form draft (local storage,
oa_checkout_draft). While you fill in the order form, we save what you typed on this device, so going back, refreshing or closing the tab doesn't lose it. It never goes to our servers this way. It's deleted when you press “Start over”, when your payment goes through, and after 24 hours at the latest. - A free guide that's being made (session storage,
oa_free_guide_pending). For up to 15 minutes, this tab keeps your child's first name and a random code, so a refresh shows the guide's progress instead of an empty form. It's gone when the guide opens or the tab closes.
Optional ad and analytics tags
When we switch them on, these tags help us measure our ads. They set their own cookies:
- Google Analytics, Ads, and Tag Manager (for example
_ga,_gcl_au) - Meta Pixel for Facebook and Instagram (for example
_fbp,_fbc) - TikTok Pixel (for example
_ttp)
In the US they load unless you opt out. You can opt out with the cookie banner, on our Do Not Sell or Share page, or by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser. We never send them page views from private pages, like your order, the details form, your free guide, or your account.
Other services
- Stripe: you pay on Stripe's own checkout page, which uses its own cookies to keep payments safe.
- Cloudflare Turnstile, when switched on, may store a little data in your browser to check that you're a person, not a bot.
Your choices
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block sign-in cookies, you won't be able to sign in. Questions? Email support@oraclerealm.com.
