Privacy Policy

Effective October 25, 2026

This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, who helps us, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. “We” means Oraclerealm, which runs oraclerealm.com.

The short version

We use your details to make what you ask for and to run our shop.
Our service is for parents. You give us your child's details; your child doesn't.
We don't sell your information. The one gray area is ad tags, and you can switch those off (see Do Not Sell or Share below).
If our ad tags are on, ad companies can see your visits to our site. You can switch that off (see Do Not Sell or Share).
You can ask us to see, fix, or delete your data at any time.

Children

Oraclerealm is for parents and guardians. It is not meant for children, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. A parent gives us their child's details so we can write about that child. If you think a child sent us information, email support@oraclerealm.com and we'll delete it. You can also ask us to delete your child's details at any time.

What we collect

When you ask for a free guide

Your first name and email. Your child's first name, birth date, birth time (if you know it), and birthplace. Whether you said yes to emails. And how you found us, such as an ad's tracking tags or a friend's share link.

When you buy

Your email and what you bought. Stripe takes your payment. We never see or store your full card number.

For your full guide

Your child's first name, birth date, birth time, and birthplace. If you choose, their full name at birth and a topic to focus on. We encrypt the full name at birth before we store it. For the Parent & Child Guide, we also ask for your own birth details.

For the Moon Letter

Your email, your child's first name and birth date, and your subscription status.

When you sign in

Your email. We sign you in with a one-time email link, so there's no password.

When you browse

The pages you view and the buttons you click, tied to a random visit id in a cookie. Your IP address, which we use to stop abuse (for example, too many requests). See our Cookie Policy.

When you email us

Your email address and what you write.

How we use it

To work out the birth chart and write your free guide, full guide, or letter.
To email you what you asked for: your free guide, your full guide, receipts, and sign-in links.
To send you occasional emails about understanding your child, unless you said no or unsubscribed. Every one has an unsubscribe link.
To run the shop: payments, refunds, support, and stopping fraud and abuse.
To see what works on our site and, if our ad tags are on, to measure our ads.

Who helps us

These companies process data for us. Service providers may only use it to do their job for us. Ad platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok) can also use what they see for their own advertising. That's why you can opt out of them.

Stripe takes payments and handles refunds. It gets your email and payment details.
Supabase is our database, file storage, and sign-in system. It stores the information on this page.
Vercel hosts our website and runs our code. Every visit passes through it, including your IP address.
Anthropic (Claude) writes the text of free guides, full guides, and Moon Letters. It gets your child's first name, birth date, birthplace, the calculated chart, and any focus topic. It does not get your email or payment details.
AstrologyAPI calculates planet positions. It gets the birth date, time, and the birthplace's map coordinates and time zone. It does not get names.
OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) and Photon by Komoot turn the birthplace you type into map coordinates and suggest places as you type. If we switch it on, Mapbox does the same job. They get only the place text.
Resend sends our emails. It gets your email address and the email.
ImprovMX forwards the emails you send to our address to our inbox. It gets your email address and what you write.
Klaviyo sends our follow-up and marketing emails. It gets your email and first name; your child's first name, birth date, and sun and moon signs; what you started to buy or bought; and your share link. We use these so our emails can greet you, talk about your child by name and sign, and arrive at the right time. We don't send this to Klaviyo if you unticked the email box, opted out below, or your browser sends Global Privacy Control.
Inngest runs our background jobs, like building and sending your guide. Your guide details pass through it while a job runs.
Upstash counts how often a form is sent, so one person or bot can't flood it. It sees your IP address and, for some forms, your email address, and forgets them within two days.
Cloudflare Turnstile, when switched on, checks that a form was sent by a person and not a bot. It sees your IP address and browser details.
Sentry, when switched on, collects error reports so we can fix problems. We remove emails and names from what we log.
Google (Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager), Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and TikTok, when switched on and only if you haven't opted out. They see which of our public pages you visit and when you buy. They don't get page views from private pages like your order, the details form, your free guide, or your account, and we strip ids from the web addresses we send them. When you buy, Meta also gets a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email to match the sale to an ad.

These providers keep data in the United States and the European Union. Our database is currently in the European Union (Ireland).

How long we keep it

Orders and billing records: 7 years, because tax law requires it.
Guide PDFs: 3 years after we deliver them.
Birth details you give us for a full guide: 2 years after we deliver the guide.
Free guide sign-ups that never bought anything: 2 years.
Analytics visit ids: 30 days. Analytics events: 13 months.
Rate-limit records (IP addresses, and for some forms email addresses): 2 days.
Payment event ids from Stripe: 90 days.

You can ask us to delete your data sooner. See below.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We never sell your information for money. But when our Google, Meta, or TikTok tags are on, those companies see your visits and can use them for advertising. Some US state laws, like California's, call that “selling” or “sharing” data, or “targeted advertising.” You can opt out here. Opting out turns those tags off on this browser, and we stop sending your details to Klaviyo for marketing from forms you fill in on it.

We honor Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends it, you're opted out automatically.

Opting out is saved in a cookie, so do it again on each browser or device, and after clearing cookies. To stop marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in any email.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, and other US states), you can ask us to:

tell you what personal information we have about you and your child, and give you a copy;
correct it;
delete it;
stop “selling” or “sharing” it, or using it for targeted ads.

Email support@oraclerealm.com from the address you used with us. We may ask you to confirm it's you. We reply within 45 days. Someone you authorize can ask for you. If we say no, reply to our answer to appeal, and we'll look again. We will never treat you differently for using these rights.

Some records we must keep by law, like billing records. If you ask us to delete everything, we'll delete the rest and keep only those.

If you are in the EU, the UK, or Switzerland

This part applies to you under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, and the Swiss data protection law. It adds to everything above.

Why we may use your data (legal bases)

To make and deliver what you asked for (the free guide, a paid guide, the Moon Letter) and to run your account and orders: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
To send you marketing emails and to set ad cookies: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time, by unsubscribing or by using the cookie choices above, and that does not affect what happened before.
To keep the site safe, prevent abuse, measure how the site is used with our own first-party analytics, and improve the guides: our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)), weighed against your rights.
To keep billing and tax records: a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).

Children's data

You, the parent or guardian, give us your child's first name, birth date, time, and place so we can make the guide. We never collect anything from a child directly, we never use a child's data for advertising, and we never make decisions with legal or similar effects about you or your child by automated means.

Where your data lives and where it goes

Our database is hosted in the European Union (Ireland). Some of the companies that help us (listed under “Who helps us”) process data in the United States: the AI that writes the words, our payment provider, our email provider, and our hosting provider. We rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified and otherwise on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, plus the UK Addendum where it applies.

Your rights

access your data and get a copy;
correct it;
delete it (“right to be forgotten”);
restrict or object to how we use it, including any use based on our legitimate interests;
take it with you in a common format (portability);
withdraw consent at any time.

Email support@oraclerealm.com from the address you used with us. We reply within one month. If you think we got something wrong, you can also complain to your local data protection authority. We won't treat you differently for using any of these rights.

How long we keep it

The periods under “How long we keep it” apply. When a period ends, we delete or anonymize the data unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

Keeping it safe

Our site always uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only the people who run Oraclerealm can see customer data. We encrypt a child's full name at birth before storing it. Guide download links stop working after a few minutes. No system is perfect, so if a breach affects you, we'll tell you as the law requires.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top. If it's a big change, we'll email customers.
